I would absolutely try "Honest Kitchen Prowl" dehydrated raw. You just add water. Very cost effective and high quality. Many exotics that come into our clinic with low appetites - find this is their magic food

-Being owned by a feline builds character & teaches selflessness, patience, cleverness and joy

It is a good food, but my cats would not eat it

We have an F1 & an F2. The F1 is the alpha and will eat anything. The F2 is super picky and cycles through favorite foods every few weeks. They eat wet food 2x per day and have access to dry food at all times. To keep our F2 eating reasonably well, we've learned to make constantly changing blends of different dry foods. For his wet food, we will usually add a forkful of a new brand or new flavor to see what he'll be into. If he hates the wet, he will eat more of the dry that day. This is the first cat that I've ever owned that actually seems to crave constant changes to his diet. Luckily our F1 is more than happy to pig down any rejected brands, and so far, neither has any weight issues:). Maybe try switching out the brand/flavor more often for your kitty that's rejecting meals?

Naturally, cats wouldn't be eating the same thing every meal (just as we don't), so maybe that is why they become fussy. If you eat the same thing too many times in a row, you run the risk of developing it as an allergen as well. I know with mine, I try to change up the proteins every bag. Jimmy makes it hard as he will only eat chicken...I'm working on him
