Hi All,
I have a quick question about feeding, and I would really appreciate any help I can get. We have two cats. Pippa is 1.5 years old, and we recently added a SV kitten (Suwi - 4 months now) to our family. Pippa is mainly on Soulistic chicken (grain free) wet and some taste of the wild dry food. Suwi is mainly on Wellness and Royal Canin kitten wet, and some taste of the wild dry food as well. We are noticing that Suwi prefers Pippa’s Soulistic wet food over his kitten Wellness and Royal Canin wet food. He is now hardly even touching his kitten wet food. I wouldn’t mind having both my cats on Soulistic, but I’m concerned Soulistic may not meet all the nutritional requirements of a growing kitten. Even though Soulistic is a high quality food, consisting of visible slices of cooked chicken, it has a pretty low fat content (1.5%), and so I’m concerned that my kitten may not get a wholesome nutrition if I feed him Soulistic. Any ideas? Could I supplement Soulistic to make it more kitten friendly?
Thanks for your help!
