fibrosis of the liver

She decided that Jammu needed some food ASAP and decided to grab the bag of duck hearts off the counter. I managed to get it away from her and feed them a more reasonable amount than she probably had in mind. She also initiated play with Jammu this morning as well.

I forgot to mention that her first blood work from yesterday showed that her liver values were all still stable. Yes, they are elevated but they are not increasing and have not increased in a couple of months. We should get the bile acid test results later today. The bacterial culture will take a few days.

Wonderful news! I'll bet the infection had a lot to do with her adverse behavior for the past few days. So glad to hear she is feeling better today!!

Bile acid test results are in.....Rafiki is NOT in LIVER FAILURE!

Urine tests were all good. The ear infection is microplasma or something like that. We will continue to treat with the antibiotics.

I feel like I can breathe for the first time in days!

What a relief. Delightful news. I'm going to open a bottle of wine to celebrate and toast to Rafiki's continued improvement and good health.

Goad to hear she is ok and no liver issues... She does seem to have an immune system issue, so I'm wondering if you can build up her immune system and she will then feel better!

Any ideas on how to boost her immune system?
