Jammu is still by her side so I went for a quick run to Trader Joe's. They are both in the spare bedroom. Jammu is softly purring at her. She is lying on her side with her back legs propped up on a cat bed. I wish they had picked a different room - this one has a bed that is about an inch too low on the sides for me to crawl under. I hope that she does not do a mad dash under the bed an hour from now when I need to bring her to the vet.

Ugh, sorry to hear about yet more complications to Rafiki's health but keeping my fingers crossed that the worst is over and this issue at least is on the mend!

That's a great little avocado tree - did you grow it from a seed? Mine have always died as soon as I transplant them into a dirt substrate so I gave up years ago...

The good news is that there is no evidence of a clot. Ultrasound showed some abnormalities with the spleen and an enlarged lymph node. He performed a needle biopsy on the spleen but could not get to the lymph node without sedating her. We will have the results on the spleen in a day or two.

The muscle weakness has improved since this morning. He is saying that it could be a complication from the cyclosporine but she has been such a special case that he just doesn't know. For now, we will discontinue all meds again except for the Denamarin.

The avocado tree is a Reed. I did not grow it as it needs to be grafted. Have you ever had Reed avocados? They are the size of a softball and have the richest flesh. Also, they can be kept pruned back to 10' - 12' so they dont require much room.

Rafiki is extremely weak this morning but at least her back legs seem to be working normal again.
