Beautiful boy!! Did the vet do a respiratory PCR or just prescribe antibiotics? If he hasn't had that test done I would ask them to do it. Watery eyes can be caused by a couple things. Some are viral and some bacterial. You need to know what you're dealing with in order to know how to deal with it.

Pino is very cute! I wouldn't worry too much about him chasing after his own back feet, I think he will probably grow out of it in time. Be sure to spend lots of time playing with him and providing him with alternative toys. As for the watery eyes, the most common cause for this is feline herpes but as noted above, without running a PCR test you will never know for sure.

I am not exactly sure if my vet did the PCR. She did a viral panel and a fecal examination as part of the first checkup. They both came back negative. She already gave me the antibiotics before we had the test results though. The eye discharge was always clear and watery until yesterday when it had a yellow color...

What type of test was the viral panel? Blood or something else? Respiratory PCR would be swabs from eyes, nose and throat that would have to be sent out for results.
