Hello everyone. I'm looking to start my girls on a new food. I don't have time to do a home made raw diet. So I'm looking for a good grain free dry food. I wanted to see what you guys have to say about a brand called Nature's variety Instincts. It's got freeze dried raw food wrapped around the kibble but it appears to have a little grain in it despite saying it's grain free. I wanted to find out y'alls opinion about Nature's variety and see if you guys have any suggestions in food. I feed them both wet and dry food.

It is a decent food... Mine won't eat it sadly earthborn Holistics chicken cacciatore is what mine eat!

I think Nature's Variety Instinct is one of the better foods available for cats and don't think you could go wrong using it.

I am a newbie here so I'm not one to give advice, but I currently feed my F2 male Nature's Variety and he is doing very well on it. I get from chewy.com, it's a lot cheaper than buying at my local PetSmart. He started off eating Wellness from the breeder, but once he got a taste of the Nature's Variety he refused to eat anything else. His favorite is the limited ingredient rabbit wet food. I also occasionally give him the limited ingredient turkey, but it makes his poo smell horrible and he also occasionally gets the salmon flavor. He wouldn't touch the duck flavor and didn't seem to like the chicken either.

I try giving him Raw Boost Grain-Free Rabbit Meal Formula Indoor Dry Cat Food, but he just won't eat kibble. The only way he eats it is if I put some in a blender and turn to powder and then mix with his wet food.

This week I also tried the Nature's Variety Raw Frozen Rabbit. He LOVED it, but unfortunately it doesn't love him back If he gets more than 3-4 pieces, he ends up throwing it back up. I do mix it with his wet food, but his tummy just isn't agreeing with the raw.

I started feeding my girls the Earthbound Primitive brand. They seem to love it and if you have a Pet Club near you they sell 12 pound bags for $19.99.
