I think letting him go alone is not such a good idea seeing as how he appears to be a big pushover when it comes to animals. I already anticipate a discussion with the breeder about a 2-for the price X and you just may get a bigger than anticipated surprise when he gets home.;)
Deborah, you are so right! My only saving grace at the moment is that the income tax refund wasn't any bigger. He has been wanting an F1 for quite some time, and already informed me that we will be saving for one. He always did like exotic pets. By the time he was 19, he'd had numerous snakes (Burmese python, reticulated python, boa constrictor), a tarantula and chinchilla. Together, we had sugar gliders, a cockatiel, a cat (Toonces lived to be 21 yrs. 4 mo.) and a boa. We also raised rats. I know very well that he will come home all starry-eyed...especially if there's a Serval there. He missed his calling; he should have been a zoo owner! :)

Looks like the weather in Kingman isn't too much different than Ohio this week, so he may not know the difference ;). It's maybe 5-10 deg warmer in the daytime, that's about it I think. Kingman, being high desert, is quite a bit cooler than Phoenix in the low desert (where Shango lives). Either way, I bet you guys are getting excited! Would love to see some pix of Triton and his two sisters (one is marbled, the other is golden spotted like Shango but with much inkier spots, I believe she will be kept). ...dj
I remember going to Kingman for NYE 2003, there was snow on the ground! Definitely it gets cold, my F2 girl got her first walk in snow when we visited Arden that time :) That time we drove, when I went back to pick up Katie I flew into Vegas and rented a car...and three months later it was much nicer weather (us Australians just aren't reared for cold weather!)...

Glad to know there isn't such a drastic change in weather! I saw Triton and Shango's marbled sister on Arden's web page, but I don't think I saw the spotted one. Probably because they are keeping her, right? I know that CC plans on taking alot of photos while out there. Maybe he'll get one of Lady Delta Force, too. How far is Phoenix from Kingman?
That's correct. Arden is going to keep their sister last I knew...she is a spitting image of her F1 mom IMO (very dark inky spots in this case). I kind of think she'll look like Lady Delta Force when she gets older (who I think is an F3). Phoenix to Kingman is about a 3 hr drive, little over 200 miles. ..dj
