You do realize that "Buster", as in "a person or thing that breaks or destroys something" may be a very appropriate name for a Savannah?! :ROFLMAO:

He is home. Took 6 hours round trip. Have him in what I thought was a large cat playpen....He has been very quiet. Eats ,well, loves Chicken, freeze dried chicken treats. Extremely shy. Cringes when I try to touch him. Going to the Vet tomorrow. Can get him in the crate with foo... We have been practicing. I have been spending two hours with him at two hour intervals. He has made no noises except to growl at my 5 lb. Peterbarld who was curious.... It will be some time before I introduce them... Not sure how much he weighs.... He seems so large compare to my girls. Standing on his hind feet, he is 32 inches.

Congrats, but your other cat should not be anywhere near the new kitten. He should be totally isolated from other pets for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Thanks, my other cats show no interest that he is in the house. There should be no problem. It was when I brought him in and getting him set in his new room an playpen. He is going to the vets tomorrow. My nephew. Then he will chill upstairs for as long as it takes.. thank you for your reply.

He's a little shy but you are doing a wonderful job with all the time you are spending with him and I'm sure he will warm up to you quickly. Moving to a new home with all the strange people and cats, not to mention sounds and smells can be overwhelming, so patience is what is needed right now.

How did the vet visit go?

He is at the vet now. Kurt's office called and said they wanted to keep him till Monday, that he is extremely fearful.
