Go Cat Wheel vs. The Cat Wheel

It will spend some time in Azidi's room and some time in the kids' room. I hope it is not a waste of $$

I have a One Fast Cat wheel. My 3 boys love it. It is good quality, easy to assemble, not that noisy, no screws and much cheaper then the other ones I have seen. A few videos for you to see it in action.

Two for the price of one.

Even Spencer likes it.

Charlie must think he is a Serval.

Good luck.

Problem I see is that the wheels are too small for your cats...so just be careful...

It is 12 inches wide by 48 inches in diameter the same measurements as the Go Cat Wheel and others I looked at. I certainly do not see what you see, when you say it is too small. Do they make bigger ones?

Thank you for the videos and information Kitty Lady! I was an original backer of One Fast Cat Wheel on Kickstarter, but then got nervous after reading the issues with the initial batch. Do you have the first version or have the problems been fixed (there was something about putting it together and the mats that go on the inside of the wheel).

Loctite will do it and simple nail polish as well. Just paint the bolt up with the nail polish, screw it in and let it set. Not as good as Loctite, but what we used to use before there was Loctite.

Thank you John! So far the threadlocking stuff has been holding up - will have to try nail polish next time! :)

I am sure I have the revise model. I was worried when I first saw the wheels and how easy it would be for a cat to get hurt. But then I saw they send covers for the wheels. Big improvement for sure. I was also concern about the inside and the material foam like sticky padding. I did not use it, I don't think it would last anyways with those nails, the surface is not that slippery and the boys have not slip on it. Chaplin will spend up to 1 to 2 hours on it daily, most time he is walking slow and looking outside at the birds. He will also come and get me to stand by the wheel and scratch the wheel while it is turning, then he usually goes fast. It was simple to put it together and took me about 25 minutes as the video said.

For big cats, those wheels are just too small...you can tell because they cannot stretch out and really run. But if they don't run and just walk, I guess it is fine. And yes, there are 60" wheels...

I will have to look for one. Thanks. I guess, I did not realize the boys were that big, hate to see what Spencer (F1 and only 4 months) will look like, another inch and he will be as tall as the other two. Too funny, laughing out loud, as Charlie is sitting on my chest while I am trying to type. He makes a better door than a window for sure. Never a dull moment with those boys. Lol

He hates it if my attention is not all his.

My cats like to slide our Go Cat Wheel up against the wall and run until the paint is off the wall. I wish it had a solid side. Also, I think it is loud and the first few times heard it, I thought afreight train was running through the room.

....where the wild things are.
