Hi JB, congratulations on your new baby, he is very cute!

Your kitten doesn't look like he has much of a tail, which means the nerves that normally control bladder and bowel control may not have properly developed - so just make sure that your kitten has been completely weaned from mom and separated from her so that the breeder can confirm he has good litterbox habits. Since mom takes care of all potty matters when the kittens are young, a problem is often not picked up until after they are separated and she is no longer cleaning up after him.

I may have missed it - when are you expecting him to arrive?

Yes someone else mentioned the bladder control.. i will make sure to ask the breeder. And he will come home the first week of June!

He's Hooooooooooooome!! Yay!
So i have had Titus home for 3 days now, and i'm glad to say we are making great progress together! He is seriously THE most vocal cat i've ever met. He meows(and hisses) nonstop. I barely slept through all the meowing. In fact i was worried about his vocal chords... The first night he was very withdrawn and quite, full of hissing when you even breathed near him. The second day he started to play and ate a little and drank some. And now finally on the third day he is playing much more freely. He doesn't like me to approach him, but after i've tricked him into letting me pet him he stops hissing and even rolls over to show his tummy. After a while of petting he seems to realize he's siding with 'the enemy' and will stare at me like im crazy and back away all the while meowing at the top of his lungs.
I have already fallen in love with him! He's super ornery and seems to be all talk, but i'm doing my best to let him approach me on his own terms and not scare him or move too quickly. His nubby tail is simply adorable to me especially when he wags it, and thankfully no litter box issues! He's a champ. I will now attach FAR too many photos ;) IMAG0054.jpg IMAG0065.jpg IMAG0098.jpg IMAG0104.jpg IMAG0116.jpg IMAG0123.jpg IMAG0126.jpg

YAY JB & TITUS!!! Whew, so glad the wait is over and you two are getting to know each other. Looking forward to more stories over the next few days as he adjusts to life at home.

Oh, he's gorgeous!

He'll come around quickly, I'm sure!

My Vakai was wary for about two days, though even his wariness wasn't enough to kill his desire to play! By day three he was sleeping next to me in bed and not hiding under things to avoid being pet.

I love his little nub tail! He is sooo adorable. That last pic of him totally goes with your story of "rolling over and showing his belly" he is so cute :) I am glad he is finally home with you. Can't wait to see/hear more.
