Thanks for all the love! I am SO glad this forum is here. I might have cried a bit thinking he hated me if i hadn't been able to read everyone's stories and learn these things that you don't really see when you read about them.
That being said me and Titus had a huge break through today! I moved him to the bathroom and he seems so much more comfortable. He even at food out of my hands today! AND let me reach down to pet him without hissing at me. Then when he bumped his head against my head to get petted more i almost cried.

Progressing right along! Titus 'Get Used to Everything and Adapt Before we Move Too Much' training officially started today.
Day 1:
I wanted to start getting him used to his harness he's been smelling it for a few days now and today i just wanted him to try it a little then take it off. Well he wore it like a CHAMP! Didn't get the crazy kitten 'cant feel my legs' or anything. He did stare at me a little crazy for a while though. We trotted around the house a little, until he tried to go under a cabinet. Shut that down real quick.
We then hopped in the car to petsmart to get him a new toy. He was in his carrier with the top off(in his harness with the leash firmly in my hand) and he just stared at the aisles as we passed and sniffed around. He let a few strangers pet him lazily. We stayed for a little while and he did SO good. When we got home i took off his harness and he was all cuddles. We played with his multiple new toy(he tricked me i swear) and now he's napping. I think tomorrow will just be a quiet day of play, and then hopefully he's up for a challenge the next day! Overall, quite a successful day!! IMAG0150.jpg IMAG0154.jpg

Sounds like a fun outing for you both :)

Just make sure that harness is firm and close around his ribs... it looks like it might have a bit of a gap in that second pic. If it is loose then if the kitten freaks and is struggling against the leash then it can pull away enough to get a kitty elbow underneath the harness , that kitten will be out of it in no time! It's not the same as fitting a collar where you need to leave room for their windpipe...and I'd hate for him to get out of it when you get to the walking in the open stage!

Oh yes! I tightened it up before we left. The pics were my first attempt at putting it on him, and over the hour i tightened it up little by little until it was snug :)
