Savannah Super Cat
Hello everyone! I have been looking to add a savannah to my life for about two years now, and it's finally my time! I knew that i wouldn't be able to get one for two years until i saved up and got my own place, finished school, ect, but i creeped on every breeders page religiously gobbling up all the information i could find! I abuse google.
And i finally found my baby, Titus. :)
He is a very standard yet non standard F3 savannah! Why? Because even though he has Gorgeous markings and eye shape, he was bred to have a bobcat tail! When i heard about him it seemed a little strange, but then i saw him and i fell in love. I just knew he would be my baby. I also have no intentions on showing him, he is solely there to be my best friend so i don't see any problems.
He's only 3 weeks old, so i still have a ways to go before he comes home to me and i can't feasibly visit him very often as we are across the country. BUT my breeder buddy is sending me updates weekly and I'm eating them up! I actually watched the same video like 10 times in one day...

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS FORUM! I can creep other peoples lives and live through you guys and ask all the questions i can think of until he gets home! I attached a few pics of him below!

Can't wait to get to know everyone!

Hi J.B.! Your little guy is very very cute! I haven't heard of any Savannahs being bred to have a bobtail, so that's new, but it doesn't change how cute he is. Welcome to SVCatchat.com!

Welcome, JB and congratulations on your new kitten!

I can't see how much of a "tail" your Titus has, with any luck he does have a few vertebra. I mention this as the Manx breed does have an issue with this...if there are too many vertebra missing then they can lack control over their bowels... just something to be aware of. Given it is likely PixieBob not Manx used there ought to be a little stub of a tail making sure there are no problems :)

And Trish, there is a breeder here in Northern Cal that is breeding everything to everything, I believe she calls the tailless Savannahs "Savannah Puffs", there's also "Jungle Puffs" when she uses her Chausie with her PixieBob... and then she's also used a Maine Coon for size and she just docks those tails to make them "cuter"...

Lol Brigitte, Savannah Puffs to me sound like some kinds of puffed snack chip.

Also welcome J.B.! I bet you can't wait for Titus to come home, he is handsome I can't wait to see more of him growing up :)
