Hi, I'm Barb and I've been lurking and posting for a bit. I thought I'd post an intro now because we just received our new kitten last Friday. She's an F2, her name is Sabrina and she was born March 9.

Fortunately I pulled the lucky card and she has been just the sweetest little thing. She was shy for about 10 mins after she came out of her carrier, then off she went! She even snuggled with us the first night (I put a twin mattress on the floor of her room and me and/or my son sleep in the room with her). She's so comfy now, when I wake up, she'll be laying all over us in all kinds of different positions.

My only challenge has been to keep her from having a crazy fit at about 2am when she frantically tries to nurse on random parts of my head. I solved that by giving her only a canned food snack at dinner time, then her meal at about 11pm and leave out what's left over. I didn't like 2am feedings with my son, darned if I'm gonna have them with a cat!

Here are some photos of her. I've also included a photo of her little brother Kufu (it may end up being Kofu since that's what ends up coming out of my mouth at least 50% of the time). He was born March 29. This photo is from a visit that we made to the breeder two weeks ago, so he was 6wks old. He's an F3 snow.

Welcome Barb!!! I love Sabrina - she is a beauty whether blue or lavender ;)

And giving her a snack and then late meal is perfect - that is what I do and it works.

Look forward to more pics and stories...
