Hello, My name is Kimberly. I live in Florida with my husband and daughter. We also have 5 male cats, all neutered indoor babies. My daughter has a Chinese Crested dog and a turtle. I am a cat lover, I love all cats, all colors, all breeds etc ...
Cats are amazing creatures, I enjoy watching them interact and being silly or just sleeping peacefully. They bring me so much joy and unconditional love. My cats all have different personalities and I love each one for there unique character. My cats are family and they are treated like such, where I go, they go... period. I have worked and volunteered at rescue shelters and No kill shelters. I have seen many animals surrendered for ridiculous petty reasons, I could never ever abandon one of my animals. I can assure you that all my animals are well taken care of and spoiled, just like my daughter Taking an animal into my home is a lifelong committment.
Anyways ... I am looking for a new addition, a male Savannah. The generation isn't important to me, neither is age. Please contact if you may have what I am looking for.

welcome to the group Kimberly! Do you ever have difficulty introducing new males to the household with the boys you have now? Are they any particular breed and how did you come to want a Savannah?

I have done alot of fostering so my cats are used to other cats, kittens, moms coming into the house. There is always the initial spats but they aren't anything major and it doesn't last long, they just have to figure out where everyone is on the totem pole again .. All my cats are rescues. I have an 8 yr old black male named Stanley, he was abused when he was very young. I have had him for 7 1/2 yrs. The next is Shanahan, he is an orange long hair with a maine coon personality, he is my super sweet silly boy and he is 6, him and his litter mates were found in a trash dumpster. Next is Jaxon aka Cow, he is white with black spots and he is 5. I aquired him along with his brother (maxon)when they were 3 weeks old, they had to be bottled and weaned, they were born in the wild, mother was feral. I ended up keeping both because they did'nt outgrow the feral personality. Maxon was a sand colored tabby, a beautiful boy. My heart was broken the day I found him dead, I listen to his brother cry for him nightly. I could never imagine forming such a connection with 2 cats that I couldn't touch. Before Maxon passed he was allowing me to pet him on his terms, I loved being able to touch him and listed to him purr... Next is Phoenix, I found him in the grass, hours old with his umbilical cord still attached, I didn't have alot of hope for him but made it. I trapped his mother a week later and reunited them, 6 days later we found his sister in some thick brush. She survived against all odds. Phoenix is blackish/brown and he is 2. And finally there is Sash ( I didnt name him) He came to me as a foster. He is black and white, he has had a rough life. He has his ear tagged, his other ear is cut and he has multiple scars from living on the streets, he is a very loving boy, he is 4. Mindy is our chinese crested, she is 6. Her brother and her were dropped off at a local shelter. I adopted her and another woman who volunteered adopted her brother. My husband and I also have a blue and gold Macaw names Sasha.

I became familiar with the Savannah cat when I was in Connecticut. A man had one in a carrier at the vet. I asked if I could see it and I became hooked. I have always loved cats, the exotics have always facinated me. One of my dreams is to have a sanctuary for big cats, it's a dream that I think of alot. Who knows .. Ohhh yeah, I also have a husband who loves cats too and a 13 yr old daughter.
