Grunting or stuffy nose

Hello everyone,
Moose has been doing this since we first got him and i asked the vet to look at his nose because he sounds like he has troubles breathing through his nose. I cant decide if its just a noise they make or if its a blockage in his nose. It sounds like hes grunting or tryint to clear his throat or nose. Kind of like a really loud white noise. Is this just a noise that savannahs make or should i be worried? uploadfromtaptalk1424283284876.jpg

I was going to ask the same thing - can't really comment on it if we can't hear it. What did the vet say? Does he have any discharge or runny eyes?

Savannahs shouldn't breathe any differently than any other cat, barring the really short-faced breeds that can have issues.

What did the vet say about your kitten when you asked them to examine him?

Thanks for the reply i will try to record it next time hes hanging out with me. When we got him he had black crust arround his nostrils and the top of his nose. He was a very scared kitty for the first week and it took him a week to get back to the weight he was at before being flown to denver

Sterling used to make weird noises sometimes when he was younger, kind of a mucus filled noise. But I took him to the vet and they couldn't hear or see anything wrong with him. So I'm not sure what it was.. He still does it sometimes. My personal theory is he has a slight allergy to something and it makes him stuffed up.

I don't really hear anything unusual, it would have been helpful to have seen his behavior when he makes this noise - does he look like he's sneezing? coughing? gagging?

Does he only do that when he's kneading? My parents had an Abyssinian that would do that (only a lot worse) when she would knead.
