Welcome Melody. I had a friend when I was a kid that had 2 Great Danes. They were such sweet dogs! One of them was the most mellow and gentle dog you've ever seen, while the puppy was as spaztic (in a good way) and energetic as a chihuahua on crack! He was so sweet, but was hilarious to watch because he was so clumsy that he'd practically trip over his own oversized feet and knock things over all the time. I think Great Danes and SV's would be a cute friendship! I'd teach the SV to jump onto the GD's backs lol

Oh, our Anthem loves the kitties and he's got a true mellow dane personality. The SV's love to run into his room (he has his own room off our main living room - spoiled, much?!) and they rub all over him. :roflmao: He leans down to them and they headbutt his floppy face (sometimes with slobber and all! Bleh!), it's just so adorable. I should get a video of that sometime! I'm lucky none of my SV's have been afraid of him - but I do get an occasional "what is this lug slobbering on me for?!" face. Hah!
