Savannah Kitten
NO CANCER!!!!
We are beyond relieved, that's all we wanted to hear. Not 100% out of the woods but we can handle anything else, cancer would have been crushing.
Our vet said the tissue biopsy is still somewhat inconclusive & we are waiting on 2 more stains for tuberculosis & something else that I can't quite remember, to be completed (results by Wednesday). Our vet is recommending that we do have the lump removed by a board cert surgeon. She conferred with other vets & the lab & they believe it could have possibly been a ruptured salutatory gland, a possible infection or a small tumor that created the swollen growth around it's self & became self contained.
So off we go on xmas eve to get a surgical consultation to plan out our next course of action... so to be continued.
Hug your kitties & hope everyone has a nice holiday
