Hello everyone

Xenaph

Savannah Super Cat
Hi everyone,

My name is Xenaph and I'm from Quebec in Canada.
I began to read on Savannah cat 1 year ago, and now it the time for me to purchase a kitten.

Three week ago, i gave a deposit on a mâle F5C as a pet to take him for july.

The owner called me last week, a another customer want my pet as a breeder. I have the priority on the pet, but the other customer want give me the balance of amount between price on F4 SBT and the F5C.

Which one i need to choose ? I need to give an anwer next saturday.

Here "Numas" F5C

His mother give two kittens in februrary, the kitten socializer is better. The first time i saw him, he is more dependant than independent pet.

Here "Abbas" F4 SBT

Abbas is the only kitten from his mother, so the mother protect his kitten very strongly. He received his first vaccin, so Abbas play with the other kitten since this week. I saw his last saturday, he is bigger and beautiful than Numas. The kitten is more scared itoo.

Hello Xenaph.
Abbas Looks like he would be more curious. But I don't know that for sure. He is a very pretty boy. It has to be your choice, but I vote for Abbas. :)

Welcome, Xenaph! It is hard to say...what made you choose Numas in the first place? If you really want Numas and you chose him, that is the kitten I would take.

As a breeder, I would not do this...if I sold a kitten, regardless of whether someone else wanted him/her, I would never go back on my word...but...if the situation works out best for you, then choose the kitten you would rather have...

First time i visited the website i want Abbas F4 SBT, but i cant pourchasse him because the price is too high for me.

So, the owner dont show him and i only see Numas last three weeks ago.

It is the only reason the owner contact me again, because i want him first.

But I'm scare about is caractère. If he can socialize with us like Numas already done because he have the chance to have brother and sister.

He is a Gorgeous Kitten....

Not trying to tell you what to do, but I knew when I saw my Elsa that was it... She was the love of my heart and I had to have her... NO AMOUNT of money would have been enough... At that point, she was already a part of my family... I would keep the kitten that I already have put the deposit on... Good luck with your decision.

It à very hard décision. I like them both. Abbas is 2x the size of Numas. The spotted is bigger and not the same color.

I will visit them 1 more time this saturday and take my final answer on my feeling, on my abilitie to socialize with the kitten and how are the kitten with others...

If Abbas still under the table and dont come to see me...i will take Numas.

Best of luck with that... in the end, I am sure you will make the right decision.

Remember to give the shyer kitten a little time to come out from hiding...some kittens really do start out a bit shy but can really come around. But I completely agree with you that the socialization is of utmost importance. Most of us want a pet not a pretty ornament!

Go with your gut, if you need to visit and then go away again to really think, then do so. Don't make a decision that feels forced on you by being there if you are not sure. This is a hard decision. Sure the earlier generation one is more expensive so that seems a great opportunity, but it is about the individual kitten and your needs/wants in a pet.

Good luck!
