Gentlemen I have never had to use dirty underwear to gain the affections of man or beast. I have, however, observed that my cats go bonkers over hubby's sweaty undergarments when he comes home from the gym. Must be the pheromones. The cats roll around on those icky clothes in utter abandonment and will even walk around the house draped in them. And I know what you're thinking RD, so don't bother saying it…I do not engage in that behavior

Next time you go in with the laser light sit against the wall with your legs out. After you are able to engage her in playing with the light run it across your legs and see if she will make physical contact with you to chase it. You can also bring her closer to you - hold out your hand or lay it open on the floor while running the laser light with your other hand. Bring the light to your hand on occasion, just briefly at times and more lingering at other times... if she doesn't approach initially don't give up, just keep trying from time to time.

That is the plan I have for today when I get home. Also gonna take in a handful of kitty treats and TRY to hand feed her. I am excited to see how quickly she is opening up. And OMG, she is such a beautiful girl, now that I can see her face up close. I need to fatten her up though. She is quite thin. I don't think she has been eating enough. Gonna stop for some kitty junk food, since she does not seem to want any of the canned I have. MAYBE Fancy Feast will tempt her somewhat.
Patti, I will NEVER give up on her. She has connected to me somehow. I can feel love growing. I KNOW her and Kiki will be a pair of play girls.

The Fancy Feast may do the trick. She wasn't terribly skinny when she was here (but not fat by any means) so it's possible that she has lost a bit of weight since arriving to your home. Although it's taking her time to settle in, I'm sure once she completely accepts her new environment she will find her appetite again and gain the weight back.

I have no doubt that you will win her over, as will Kiki - it is only a matter of time...

I am sure it is the stress of the new home. She just picks at the Taste Of The Wild, but she does devour the freeze dried chicken.. She won't touch the Royal Cainin or the Wellness. Hoping the Fancy Feast will tempt her taste buds. I would love to feed her the Royal Cainin since it is so fortified with the good stuff and Kiki loves it so much. In due time....

Oh man! I was taking fresh water into Zidi, and that little sneak Kiki darted into the room before I could react. Well, the hissing and spitting and yowling and running and all the associated fight noises went on for what, to me, seemed an eternity until I could catch Kiki. ( About 20 seconds) My little sweetie was the instigator. Zidi was on the defensive from the beginning. I am letting Zidi calm before I go in and try to check her out. Kiki is ok. And Kiki has no sharp claws so no harm done physically.
Kiki knows I am a bit upset.
