I was just shocked. I was lying on the floor in Azidi's room. I had almost fallen asleep, and I began to snore. I woke myself up and opened my eyes and Azidi was walking towards me under the bed. I sorta kinda closed my eyes but could still watch her and she came over the edge of the bed about 2 feet from my face. She looked at me, I opened my eyes looked at her and then looked away, and she watched me for another 30 seconds or so and then quietly wanked back to where she started. I guess the sound of my snoring piqued her curiosity. Would we say that was a normal step or a LARGE baby step?

I'd say it's a normal step. If you want a LARGE step, try taking a nap with a piece of that dried chicken treat balanced on your nose (try not to choke on the chicken if you snore):big grin:

No, I think your presence piqued her curiosity! Just remember that looking directly into a cat's eyes can be perceived as a threat or a play for dominance (until there is established trust there) so try to look at her chin, or paws, or chest... you get the drift... blink slowly at her - that is a sign of acceptance and submission. I think this is definitely more than a baby step! One of these days you're going to fall asleep in there and find her sleeping next to you!!
