I have it ONLY on my own LAN. And it is locked down tight in (on) my router firewall.

Keep in mind that the Firewall and router will have to have a port open so you can view from the outside world, if you intend to view it from outside your home.

Cary have you exchanged bedding & toys between the two? If not, you should do so and maybe that will move along the two of them getting used to each other's smell. Then in a few days after the exchange of beds & toys, you can also try feeding them with their dishes right next to the closed door.

Is Kilifi spayed?

I swapped out some toys and Azidi did not seem too put out by it, but Kilifi was real interested in the scent from Azidi's toys. Now Kiki is rubbing all over the mouse. (scenting).

Kiki is jealous of the new girl in your life. When she came to you, Merlin was already an established fixture there, but Zidi is the interloper. Kiki just needs to realize that you are still her number one girl. Working on her relationship with Zidi will come, but you are still working on your relationship with Zidi, so don't worry too much about how to get the two of them to get along until you are ready for 'formal introductions'. Just be sure to give Kiki special attention each day, although I'm sure you already do that...

YES I Do. Kilifi is with me all the time when I am NOT with Zidi. She may NOT get the CONSTANT play she wants...But she gets a lot each night. A lot more that Zidi. Zidi get all she wants. Til she goes away and lays down. AND Kiki gets to sleep all night beside me. So Kiki will just have to be content being number 1 and not number only.

I was the first born and was the only for 9 years til by little bro was born. I remember the feeling of no longer being the only...I can relate.

Oh. I did want to add that Zidi finally trusts me enough to play chase the birdie with the wand toy. She had only looked at it with passing interest before, but last night she was up and over the bed trying to chase it. She caught it several times, and played tug-of-war with it. She has not YET lept for it, but she is a very accomplished jumper. She jumps playing chase the green dot. She easily jumps up on a 6 foot cabinet in the room when chasing the dot. Each day she seems to trust me a bit more. And in the morning, I tell her goodbye outside her window when I go to work and she does not pull back any more like she did a few days ago. She is full of energy and runs around the room like a crazy cat. She keeps me smiling and keeps Kilifi jealous. I see the desire in her eyes to be my friend, but I also see the unconscious fear still eating at her from her kittenhood. We shall succeed in becoming buddies. Of that, I have no doubt. LOVE will conquer all.

Good on you Cary, for being so patient with Zidi. I can imagine how much you want to snuggle her, but you are taking things at her pace. Zidi won't be able to resist you for long
