Folks. I am not so sure there will be videos or picts of the meeting. It MAY have already happened. I had my camera and was going in to get some stills of Azidi and Kilifi darted in between my legs and it became a supersonic fur ball, that went immediately under the bed. The screaming yowling and hissing just freaked me out. I was yelling at Kilifi , ( as she was the instigator) and I had to run out to get the spray bottle. By the time I got back, Kilifi was out, tail 2 inches in diameter but ok, and Azidi was growling under the bed. I gave Kilifi a few water shots and she ran out of the room. I managed to coax Azidi out and she is ok too. This all happened so fast I could not get picts or vids. I am not sure that picts will be a possibility later today. And I am shocked my little Kilifi is such an aggressive little girl. Poor Azidi on the defense from the start.
What is a dad to do???

Yup, not much of a video listening to the two of them under the bed. Have you tried again since that momentous morning encounter?

Yes, I put Azidi in the crate for about 5 min while I let Kilifi in the room. Azidi acted terrified. Crying growling and hissing. And was cowering in the crate. But they faced each other and she was not able to run away. Kilifi was very "in her face" and not at all timid. Definitely the Alpha. What I did see was that even while Azidi was scared and cowering, she would come to my hand and nudge it through the crate. When I figured they had been facing each other enough I took Kilifi out and let Azidi relax. After about 10 min, I put Kilifi in my bedroom and opened the door so Azidi could have run of the house. I then proceeded to fall asleep for a couple of hours. When I woke up, I went in and Azidi was her normal loving self. So I closed the door and let Kilifi out. She is fine too. This is gonna be a little more difficult then I had expected.

I took a short video of Azidi and I playing. I will attempt to upload it to Facebook then link it here. No I do not have a Youtube account.

I am not sure that will work, Youtube you can sign up for free. If you have a GMAIL account, you can link the 2. If you need assistance, will be glad to help.

Don't you have a leash and harness for Kilifi? You might consider letting Azidi out into the main house then bringing Kilifi out on a leash so that they can face each other, but you can control Kilifi's aggressive behavior, if she chooses to display any. Just make sure the harness is on snugly so that she can't get out of it...
