She has clearly bonded to you - really incredible and heartwarming to see, the first time in her three years of life to love and trust a human so completely. Makes me a bit teary...I know, But I got a youtube account anyway. Been meaning to.
She seems happy, As long as Kilifi is not there... LOL And she is rather calm around me. When she was crazy scared in the crate, she would calm when I put my hand up so she could touch me. I am amazed that she has taken a liking to me. I did not think I had that kind of energy.. to calm a frightened cat. But I'm glad I have.
And I'm glad you were able to see it.

Maybe we were just meant to be in each other's life. I do feel really attached to her. She is sweet. I'm So glad it makes you happy, Patti. All kitties should have someone they love and trust. I guess she chose me. 
I sooo totally agree with you. Sometimes it's hard (and humbling) for us to realize that someone else can reach that little kitty soul when we haven't been able to reach them ourselves, but when I saw her starting to seek me out I knew I needed to give her a chance with someone who had the time and patience (and calmer household) to win her over.

Had you had the time and quiet, you would have won her. NO DOUBT. Your are a good Katzen mutter. (cat mother) You could not be a cat breeder if you weren't. And something of you stuck with Azidi. She is gentle. Will not attack my hand in play. That is not instinctive...It is learned.
I'm sure I could have given the right environment, but I just didn't have the space to give her a room to herself so that she wouldn't be intimidated by the other cats and could learn to trust me... our relationship started off with me having to medicate her for several weeks which she hated, so her impression of me was pretty cemented from the first moment we met...

I have been trying to tire Kilifi out so that she won't be quite so aggressive when I put the two together. It's a hard thing to do...Tire her out. But she has started doing something new. She is Serval pouncing on almost everything she cannot see, but can hear. Like my hand behind the pillow or her wand toy in the folds of a blanket.
