Hello Fellow Savannites

Rafiki does non-stop chatter when we approach the horrible water-box (shower). She occasionally comes into the shower but generally prefers to either perch on top of the shower stall or sit outside the shower door to warn us about the drain-monster.

Good thing she is warning you... The Drain Monster Elsa's biggest Nemesis... LOL, she has a huge fascination with water going down the drain...

Funny! Kilifi, like Elsa, has a drain facination. And she will warn me often. Or just run off as if to say.." I warned ya. Don't come crying to me when you lose a toe. " LOL

I don't remember hearing Kilifi chirping at all, would love to see a video of her nattering away at you! I'm glad to hear that Azidi is bonding closer to you as well. I knew she could be won over, just needed to meet the right human in the right environment.

She just started chirping/chattering. I will try to get a video. She never performs when the camera is on though.. But I will try.

I love it when they find their voices.

Ziggy is still pretty quiet, but he's adding trills and vibratos to the calls he already uses. And grumbles--just like an old man.

Off the subject of voices for one moment. I just had Kilifi on her leash in the room with Azidi, and I left Kiki tied to the doorknob while I let them look at each other. I was out of the room for about 30 min and when I went back in , Ms Azidi was no longer under the bed. She had gotten into the window. When I walked in, she hopped down on the bed and began looking at Kilifi from above. Kiki did not know she was above her, so I did not tell her. Azidi watched Kilifi walk around for about 5 min then went back to the window. I then showed Kilifi where Azidi was. They looked at each other and there was no growling or noise. Of course I was holding Kilifi in an upright position, so Azidi knew she was safe. BUT I think that is a step forward. :)
