OK. I received the Vetri Repel Flea & Tic Spray yesterday. Azidi was hesitant to let me touch her with it on my hands, but when I told her it should help her ears, she let me. It has a familiar smell, cannot place it, but it is not really bad, but not really good either. I petted both girls with it on my hands and they both "accepted" the petting. And they still smelled this am, tho not as strong. I guess we shall see how well it works , if it does.
Note: It does not wash off the hands.there are several essential oils in it, so I guess that is why it has staying power.
Active ingrediants: Lemongrass Oil 4%, Cinnamon Oil 1%, Sesame Oil 1%, Castor Oil 0.5%.
Inert Ingredients: Purified Water 93.5%.

For corns sake Cary, here I am in a remote corner of Slovenia worrying about your cats' progress and you're still messing with chakras and making the cats smell like a tossed salad. LOL. Time to throw those spoiled girls into the ring and let them duke it out.

When I did that last Deb, there was fur and a little blood. Zidi got the worst of it. She is just too sweet and petite for me to let her get her butt kicked. ( and lose her trust..) I want to work with Kilifi a bit to try to calm her down. Things are improving. Remember, Zidi is a little 7 lb mini kitty who is afraid of everything. NOT a fighter, but definately a lover.

Prozac for you and Kilifi. Not much can be done to level playing field when there's such a gap in dominance. Time will make a difference but it's possible that their relationship is at the apex.

I know. But There has been improvements since Andrea has been working with her. Zidi is MUCH more talkative and playful with me, and DOES play with Kilifi under the door. But when Kilifi gets agressive and hits the door, Azidi runs and hides. So Andrea is gonna start working with Kilifi, to see if we can calm her down a bit and try to "level the playing field"
The ear mite thing may be on the run since Azidi lets me make her smell like salid. LOL

True Patti. ;)
Second application tonight. Azidi let me gently rub some in her ears. Until she smelled it. Then it was "no more dad." But I still managed to get some more on her neck and back of head. She "seems" less irritated. God I hope this is working. I want the little one to feel good with no crazy itching.

New thing. Was just in with Azidi playing. She has a new play strategy. No longer does she slink and stalk her "prey". She now hides in a wall of blankets and attacks through the wall. A real Ambush preditor. :) So damned cute!!!
