I have Azidi out with me in the family room in the crate. Have had her out for about 15 min. She is very vocal in her disapproval. Not mean, but very scared. I have to talk to her and calm her all the time. She looks around a lot, and watches TV for a couple of min then cries like she is being taken away. I will keep her out for a while or until she goes too far freaked out. Right now, she is quiet and is watching tv.... ooops spoke too soon.
Had to let her out. She ran straight to her room. But she was out for about 30 min.

That's a promising start with integrating Azidi into the rest of the house. A little at a time.....I look forward to when you tell us she is on your lap or nearby watching an entire movie, perfectly relaxed :)

Every day. You do this everyday. Do this every day for, oh, 2 wks. Then do it every day but with the door to her room closed and door to the crate open. Do this every day until she finds other places in the house where she feels comfortable hiding. Provide her other places in the house to hide. Let her freak out. She won't ever get comfortable until she freaks out everywhere in the house and figures out that nothing bad is going to happen to her. Don't talk to her or comfort her when she's freaking out. Leave the room, busy yourself elsewhere.
