On a more serious note, I was in with Zidi before I went to work, and she went into the crate and looked at me like " Ok dad, I guess I am ready." SO JUST MAYBE, she understands I am not trying to Frighten the 
out of her.

Oh gosh, I guess I missed a lot since I fell asleep in front of the computer last night and didn't finish reading everything on the forum!
I definitely agree with Deborah that you need to bring Azidi out every day like clockwork, and the more consistent with doing it the same time every day the more used to the routine she will get. I'm not sure I would discourage giving comfort but I think Deb's point is to not reward 'bad' behavior so do see the value of this. Also, don't forget your treats - when she is sitting there quietly watching TV give her a treat - if she starts carrying on when you turn your attention to her but before you've given her the treat, don't give it, only reward good behavior.
I think if you do this consistently for a couple of weeks you will see improvement - you just need to commit to it. I have a little teacup Savannah waiting for you to say you want him so get cracking!

LOL. Awwww You know I would if I could.
But I AM committed to getting Azidi calmed and open to other kitties. I am also using an aromatic oil that Andrea uses to calm animals down when she works with them. Calmed my girls down last night pretty well.

I cannot remember. But I will get the name when I get home and post it. Andrea mixes it and bottles it and sells it. It is essential oils. Lavender and a couple of others. It is VERY subtle. Almost unnoticable. But the animals' smellers pick it up.

I could have used some of that 2 nights ago! Jammu kept hogging the toys so when I went to bed, Rafiki's energy was completely pent up and she was a complete monster! Worst yet, she got Jammu fired up as well and they decided to play under the covers at around 4:30 am. I was not amused!

All righty then. Azidi is in the cage, and out in the family room. At 5:10 she was initially very vocal and unhappy. She burrowed under the sheepskin blanket I have on the floor of the cage so they don't have to lay on a cold metal floor. And now she is quiet, hidden from the outside terrors. I will let her chill for a bit then try to talk her out from under the blanket. Actually she has a little spot where she can see me. but she is quiet.
