I will let her chill for a bit then try to talk her out from under the blanket. Actually she has a little spot where she can see me. but she is quiet.

Try ignoring her or just talk to her as you normally would but don't try to coax her from under the blanket. There is the possibility she uses her behavior to get special attention from you. Not sure which one of you would be the Pavlov dog in that situation. Maybe you're feeding off of each other. In any event, try not to coddle her these next couple of weeks and see what happens. She may get mad at you for not bowing to her every whisker twitch, but she'll get over it and adjust to the new paradigm.

Good Grief!!! Azidi almost gave me a heart attack. I let her out of the cage at about 6:00 so she could go back to her room. While she was slinking off to her room ( I thought) I began moving the cage back to her room. When I got it in I figured she was hiding so I just let her chill. At about 7:00 I began to become somewhat concerned because she had not come out of hiding. I began looking for her in her room. She was nowhere in the room. So I started searching in the living room.. I could not find her. Kilifi had been out and running around and had not found her so I began to think she had teleported out of here. I began a frenzied search and finally found her under a corner shelf in a dark corner of the living room, in an area I did not figure she would even fit into. She would not come out. I pulled the shelf out, and she was cowering in the corner. I tried to coax her out but all she did was cry. I took a chance and picked her up and she relaxed and let me carry her back into her room. When I put her down, she head butted me and body slammed me and wanted love big time. I guess she figured daddy is a her hero and saved her. Anyway, she is happy now and is calling me to come in and play. So in total, she was out for 2 and 1/2 hrs. AND she found another GOOD hiding place.

And I did what you suggested Witchy, and just talked normally to her. She was quiet and just stayed there until I opened the door to the cage, and began the "missing time". She did not dart out like last night, but looked around the room before slinking away.

And that is what I call progress, Cary. She's curious enough about the house to find new hide holes. This is a good thing. If she does it again, don't hunt for her and let her call the shots. Progress! Yesssss.

I agree with Deborah - next time just let her continue to hide, although I would not leave her out all night after you've gone to bed unless you have Kilifi with you in your bedroom and the door shut - then I think it would actually be a great idea to leave her out and let her explore the house.

I will let things go as they may today. She never does the same thing twice in a row. But I guess I'll have to see....
