Their current litter of F2 kittens will be ready to go to their homes around the middle of March, I believe. They have one girl left from the litter, and as much as I want to bring one home right now, I still have to wait until the summer They do however have another litter planned that would be ready to go in the summer or fall, which is much better for my family.

I'm also hoping on attending my first cat show! I've been to a few dog shows and pet expos, but I went there to work so I've never really gotten to experience the full thing, y'know?

I've heard many, many good things about Bitter Apple, but have never tried it for myself. We used to have a cat that loved to dig up the houseplants, and my mom would put peppermint oil on the plants, or orange rinds in the dirt. For us, it was a simple solution, but not every cat is repelled by the same scents.

Anyone ever tried bitter apple. I have lots of plants in my house, no they are not poisonous, but my first cat, like to touch them, and make a mess, my bengal, never touched them, and this little monkey likes to touch and make a mess. Anyone tried the bitter apple? if not what do you all recommend? No hes not biting them or anything, just likes to make a mess lol and I prefer he stays out of the dirt!. THANKS

I've had great luck in liberally sprinkling ground black pepper on and around objects I don't want our cats to chew on or make a mess of. I don't have any indoor plants, but would use black pepper in the dirt if I did....you want to be wary of some oils as they can be toxic to pets. I've heard of others adding large rocks, foil, or clear saran wrap or strips of double-sided tape to plant pots to cover the dirt.

I went thru quite a lot of cayenne pepper the first year - but more for fake foliage than real. I sometimes wonder what kind of instincts these two have! LOL It also worked well on the electrical cords.

We used bitter apple - both, the spray and the roll-on thingy. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Lucky for us, Sasha isn't interested in power cords but he did try 'tasting' the indoor terrarium plants before deciding that he'd rather have fun exploring the herb garden on the patio.

We also used it to 'train' him not to bite our toes when he was a kitten!

Yea Im not sure what to try or buy. I think its just a kitten thing, and it will pass but who knows, but its awful lol, so just want to deter him so he can find something else to do. I have heard of citrus sprays so not sure what the best route is

I've had great results with the ground black pepper and electrical cords. It may not be pretty, but our cords are hidden behind furniture and not visible, and since it works to keep cats or kittens from chewing on them, I will sprinkle away as needed

It's certainly worth a try! Don't be stingy...a whole jar of ground black pepper from the dollar store is definitely worth trying and won't hurt your plants. Let us know if that works to keep Stark out of your plants.

LOL. nope. Ill grab a big one. He likes my big big one. Ill give it a shot and let you know. Hes starting to explore so much now and is playing and getting so much closer! So last thing I want to do is yell at him for the plant since its in the corner of my kitchen, and hes finally getting closer and closer lol
