Hello from Canada!

Ishani I know It's so hard to be patient but I have to. It would be easier if I could just put it in the back of my mind until its closer to the time, but it's hard to get out of my head!

If it's this bad and the kitten isn't even born, I cant imagine what it will be like when they are here and I can see them! I'll go crazy!

And it is a big relief that I got in contact with the breeder! It feels like I've done something, I'm one step closer to a kitten. And I can get in contact with them so much better too!

Whiskeyness, Rafiki is a 2 year old female. She is always looking for trouble. She has not calmed down. At all. The only thing that has changed is that she has figured out what buttons (or household objects) to push for optimal effect. Fortunately she is only 13 lbs so that limits what she can do.
Rafiki is also the submissive cat. That is....she is submissive to Jammu. Not sure that she is truly submissive to her human servants.
In regards to plants, about 6 months ago, she knocked over a plant that I had on a short stand in a very heavy ceramic cachepot. Pot shattered. I cleaned everything up. Less than an hour later, she knocked it over again - this time breaking the plastic pot the plant itself was in. I have had this plant for over 15 years. I now have to make sure that she is upstairs if I want to water the poor thing (plant, not cat!). This is now one of 3 plants I have in the house - had to move the rest to my office!
Fortunately, I more or less knew what I was getting myself into so I have no one to blame!

OMG your scaring me now lol. I have two really heavy ceramic pots on top of the wall unit next to the fireplace. Hes almost 7 pounds and not even 5 months. Hmmm lol

Too late KIM - you are already owned and cannot do anything to change things now! The plants will live as long as your little angel decides they should live. Keep whispering how they produce oxygen for cats or something.

KIM, you can always try 'teaching' your kitten 'manners' and 'good behavior'. He will quickly learn what he's supposed to do and what he's not. But there are No guarantees that he would actually practice those lessons!!!

I have found that Savannahs learn quickly and can be very good about obeying the rules when the humans ask them to... but once the humans are out of site it turns into a free for all...

LOL. ok. Hina I taught my bengal not to touch things, and funny enough, he knew not to go into the dining room, so he never did. So of course Im doing that, and since hes more present now and hanging around and acclimating, that is what Im doing.

LOL Oh geez, I was owned a long time ago lol. Silly cats, its ok. He makes me so happy so we will go with the flow! I love love love my plants, they add so much beauty to a house...I will prevail on this one. I taught my bengal and he will learn too lol. Hes a smarty pants anyway!

Yes Patti, that is so true. I went to take a shower and that is when he dug up the plant lol.

Rafiki, I know some part of me should read that and think "Oh dear, that's not for me", but I can't help but grin maniacally and say "Bring it on!"

I guess in the end, it's not the be all end all for me. Who knows? Maybe I'll be thinking of a girl kitten, but when I go to visit them a little guy will steal my heart. Or maybe I'll want a boy, but it will be a whole litter of girls!
