Hello from Chicago!!!

Welcome Jack, and congratulations on your new baby. I believe there are a few different people who have gotten cats from Taran so you might find someone here who actually has a cat related to your kitten. Just type in Taran in the search box at the top of the page.

Thanks Patti. I just finished reading a whole thread about the kittens from DomesticWildCats. I posted questions on there as to how their kittens are currently doing. Hopefully, someone will be able give us updates.

Hi, Jack! Glad you're here! Irregardless of what breed :cat:she shows, that's going to be a gorgeous girl! We are forever slaves to Tigger, Mojo, & Eddie. We are also temporarily hosting a Maine Coon; Trooper. Eddie & Trooper are learning what it means to:sneaky: "share"; Eddie chirps & hisses & Trooper makes a gurgling noise which of course:eek: freaks us out....then Mojo :roflmao:flips them both over :mouse:taking their current favorite toy:jellyfish:...Welcome to a great community of Savannah+ slaves!

Your new baby is gorgeous! Personally, I love junglecat hybrids and chausies, so I think your baby has the best of both worlds.

Welcome Jack! I visited my kitten at 8 weeks and I can honestly say that had my breeder been willing to let me take her at that age, I would not have. I used to raise Himy's and an 8 week old Himy is much more advanced than an 8 week old Savannah. Yes, it is hard to resist but I would let her stay at the cattery a couple of weeks longer.

My other cat is a Pixiebob and Goat, the father of your baby is definitely part Pixiebob (the jowls and poly feet give it away). It will be very interesting what personality your kitty develops. MY PB is a seriously mellow lovebug that starts purring the minute you look in his direction. Be glad your kitty is not a polydactyl.....the dew claw and the claw on the extra toe are seriously thick and difficult to trim.

Congrats on your new furbaby! And btw, expect to be hounded for pictures!

Hey, thanks Rafiki!!! ^_^

Yes, I already asked my breeder to let my kitten stay 12weeks before she ships. I don't really mind the wait because she promised me that she'll send weekly updates such
as pics and vids. Plus, it works perfectly with my schedule since I am going out of the country for a vacation.

There was a male polydactyl available but he was grey /smoky. I prefer the golden hue of my female kitten.

And yes, I expect myself to be photo-crazy with my girl anyway, so no worries at all. Hahaha

Congrats on the adorable little one. I bet you're bubbling with anticipation. And welcome to the forum. These guys are all very knowledgeable they have so much very good advice as I am sure you have seen. Many are very experienced breeders themselves. post many pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions =]

Hiyeeh Folks!

Just an update.

I just got a new pic of my baby from my breeder and she's grown so big in 10 days! ^_^

Here is a simple comparison photo I made from when she was born and 10 days after.
