Ziggy wasn't unsocialized in his original home though. The original owner could handle him easily, he was exuberant and trouble making stealing baby pacifiers etc but was very hissy with visitors and they had children coming for playdates and it was too inconvenient to shut him up each time.

Ziggy did react with aggression and defensiveness on rehoming though, and Chris has done a wonderful job of winning him over and integrating him with his other two cats.

Yes, that is true. Ziggy was apparently fine in his first home. Not the best example.

Well, after much deliberation with the fam, we decided to call a retired wildlife rehabber friend to take her in. She's been looking into Savannahs since 2005 but she was still rehabbing little critters so she didn't have the time to help any abused or otherwise mistreated Savannahs she didn't take any in. Now that she has an empty house she decided to take her in, but when she emailed the guy with her, he said someone had already taken her in. Well, I hope she has a good home, but that will give us more time to find one from a good breeder!
