Totally agree with WW...I have two litter robots and several other litter boxes and all get cleaned at the minimum of twice a day, although the litter robots clean themselves...

freddy goes to get his second set of vaccines tomarrow im so excited then he will be aloud to play with friends!! and today mommy is going to pick up freddys waterfountain water dish and kitty house and large bag of toys. he wont be able to use any of it till after his shots since its all from someone who had a kitty and i am not sure if her cats were sick so i dont want to take any chance so he has to wait till after his shots and mommy cleans everything.

Hi Shimmer. You may want to wait a bit longer to introduce him to friends. Keep him quarantined for 2 full weeks to make sure his immunity is developed and he has adjusted completely to you. I would say bonded to you but that seems to be progressing very nicely.

Glad to hear Freddy is doing so well! I agree with Rafiki that you should wait longer before introducing him to new friends, both for a good bonding with you, and time for his immune system to develop fully after getting his latest vaccine just recently.

If you are concerned about the Hartz brand toy, just take it away and toss it, or monitor Freddy's play with it. Any sign of breakage, into the garbage it goes! I've bought a few Hartz toys in the past, and they seemed to hold up fairly well as far as cat toys go, as long as they are not the tiny mice toys, as those can be a choking hazard. Toys made for dogs or babies are better in durability and safety...I think there are several threads already here about safe Savannah toys :)

I believe the warnings about Hartz were for their over-the-counter flea meds and collars....
