Hello, I do not have a Savannah cat but wondered if you could answer a question for me
I have a kitten that I adopted from the SPCA and she has some pretty unique markings on her, one of which are these beautiful almost "cheetah tear marks"
I wonder being Savannah owners you know anything about these?

thank you

Yes, I love tabbies <3 her facial markings is what got me curious though. honestly not sure, I don't even know her exact age but I think she is around 5.5 months.
I had never heard of those "cheetah tear marks" until someone pointed out to me what those markings were called.

Wow, what a gorgeous girl! I love those cheetah tears, I think they're pretty unique in the domestic cat world. She reminds me somewhat of a Pixiebob, do you know anything about her background?

I was thinking Pixiebob as well! Is her tail articulated at all? Most pixies with full length tails have articulated tails. My Jammu will wrap his around in a corkscrew at times.

Thank you ! No I don't know much about her at all she was supposedly an outdoor cat and of course being so little it didn't go well she got into trouble and she got hit by a car . The owners did not want to come forward and pay her vet bills so they pretty much if you want to use the word forfeited her to the vet they just asked her to be put to sleep . The vet contacted the SPCA and that is where I met her. She was a feisty yet fun little one . But I fell in love. it was funny how feisty she was but yet she was also super super sweet I think she just needed a little bit of boundaries and she's doing amazing here now he plays with all my other cats and she's quite happy . Other than that they have no history on her at all again I don't know her exact age they've just about little over five months. With her being hit by the car they couldn't stay her right away so she came home with me and we have appointment at the end of the month to get her spayed .. her age is seeming about right because it seems like she's gone into her first heat here at the house Lol looking forward to the vet visit in a few weeks !! But yeah that's all I know about her.

I'm not sure what articulated is, can you please explain? Thank you

I think articulated in this case means that it moves and bends a lot - it is 'expressive'.
