Oh cool! If it is the first walking jacket he has worn you will have the entertainment of watching him flop about like you just put a straightjacket on him....
What is the best age to introduce a kitten to walking jacket? Zeus is only 9 weeks, and would like to get him used to it as early as possible
I'm not sure...you may want to make sure Zeus has all his shots first. I started Taj at 4 months.
I think the earliest is when you can fit the kitten into a jacket...I usually start mine wearing one at ~7 weeks of age here and the XSmall is a little loose then but works ok. You obviously don't want to take them outside in the jacket until they've had two vaccinations, but you can get them used to wearing a jacket and then start trailing a leash so they are used to it before then.

Well, Sorte wore his walking jacket last night and this morning. The process was a bit less dramatic than I expected. LOL! I played with him for about 10 minutes and waited until he was chewing on his toy. Then, I just slipped it over his head and let it hang on his back without the chest strap for a bit. Once he stood up, I secured the chest strap and he just walked around and played a little more like he didn't even have it on! Never tried to take it off or anything, The only difference I saw was that he didn't want to jump as much with it on.
This morning he was hyper so it was a little more of a task to slip over his head, but once on, no problems again! I am going to let him walk around the house a few days with it on (while we are there) so he is quite used to it before attaching the lead. Great start though!
