Hello Savvy Lovers; from NorCal :)

Sounds great Paul! Seems like he is getting used to the jacket very quickly and soon you will be attaching that leash and taking him for walks ;)

I look forward to that quite a bit! ;) I think he will be really happy to have outside time too.

That what I have read. Like I've said before, he absolutely loves to sit in front of the french doors and watch everything happening in the back yard. He tries to get little peaks to the "world past the doors" when we go outside, but he never really tries to bolt out. He definitely has an interest in it though. :)

Lucky! Some just react much less to it than others. I've had some like Sorte, and then some that completely flip out over it... very happy for you that it was that easy!

Just make sure you think about HOW you take him outside. My favorite method is to put them in the jacket and leash then put into a crate to carry outside... so that they don't ever walk out that door! You could also carry them but using the crate can mean they associate the crate with FUN so that can help anyway.

I was extra surprised since he is 10 months. I thought it might be harder at that age, but maybe he is just so big that he could care less about it being on him instead of thinking it's "weighing him down". Or, maybe he's just a go with the flow kitty, (except for being held so far) LOL! That last between 5-10 seconds before he's had enough of that.

You read my mind B! I was wondering what I could do so he wasn't used to walking out the door too. It would be good to have him used to the crate more. :)
