I found the photo. If you look closely, she has double fangs top and bottom. She was exactly 5 months old. Her baby teeth in front had already been replaced by adult but she still had baby molars in back.

I saw that he has tooth and behind another tooth I don't if that means that he's changing his baby teeth

Hi and Happy Easter to everybody ! Alpha was neutered two weeks ago and the operation was well. During the ooeration the vet visited him and took his blood to sede if everything is ok as he has never been visited before. He weighs 3 kg and 900 grams and he is almost 6 months is that weight right or he has to eat more? Another thing that I want to know is this : can I let him go out? I have a big garden and all the other cats can stay out or inside the whole day, they come back in the evening. How will I behave with him, can he go out in the garden like a normal cat? Is very sad to think of him closed inside the house...
For how long should I continue to give him taurine and L- lisine added to his food ?

8-1/2 lbs at 6 months sounds like a nice big healthy boy. At this age, you pretty much feed him however much he wants to eat.

I personally would never let my cat out loose. Her attention span is non-existent. She sees something, runs after it then sees something else and runs after that. So unless your backyard is completely escape proof, I would only allow my cats outside while on a harness and leash.

Dooley had some, as Brigitte would call them, "Shark Teeth". He had both the top and bottom extra fangs for a couple weeks. Leave it to the woman from Australia to have the perfect name for the extra teeth.

I agree with Linda - Alpha's weight sounds perfect, and he should never be allowed outside without a harness and leash unless the yard is completely enclosed. You can continue the taurine and lysine indefinitely (it won't hurt him) or stop it at any time as long as he is getting a well balanced diet that includes taurine in it, and he is not showing any signs of respiratory infection.

During the operation they put the harness on him but he didn't like it and the day after he took it out by himself because he couldn't lick the part that was covered. I never try to put that thing on him again ! How can I get him used to wear it? He has to wear it the whole day or only when he goes out? I don't think that it will be very easy to do that to Alpha !

He would only need to wear it when he is outside.

What kind did you try? Was it a harness or a walking jacket? Most of us use the walking jacket as they are much more secure. It is easier for them to get an elbow up thru the belly strap and escape.

You have to get him used to wearing the jacket first. Put him into the thing and try to engage him in whatever he likes in order to distract him. At first, the jacket will only be on for a few minutes. Do not expect him to like it right away! This will take weeks.
