I don't know if this might help, but I have noticed the birds in this area have something like a nieghborhood watch and will often make alarm calls when a new or worrisome cat is hiding near by. If you listen, they will often tell where a cat is and help you focus your search. I hope you can find him!

Have you checked with your local vets and the Animal Control to see if he has been picked up by someone? Post flyers with his picture on it, someone may have spotted him...
