Help me name my kitten...

I like Jax and Asher. I like the meanings.
My new boy will be Regulus, which means Prince, or Heart of the lion. It is a star in the constellation Leo, The Lion.
That is a way to choose a name . Something that means something to you and Andrew.

My vet tells me that cats are more receptive to the "EEE" sound at the end of the name. I think that it may be one of the reasons that Cary's kids prefer the nicknames of Kiki and Zidi. My previous cats all had nicknames that ended that way.

Linda, that is how I mainly name my cats as well...Taj - I call him Taji - Ixas, I call Ixy - Cinny is Cinny - Zuri is Zuri - Sirius is Siri

I chose Kitoko because I wanted an African name - it means beautiful in Africaan. I know its not everyone's cup of tea! But it felt right as soon as she arrived home and she seems to like it! Still like Pax or Asher

Treat train, then lots of positive rewarding, they love the attention! I don't ever yell @ them using their names. They know "No", "Off", "Stop", & of course "Cookies".... I only named Eddie, Mojo is the Handsome guy from Bronwyn & Trish, Tigger is a Bengal rescue I got for my youngest son. These cats are highly intelligent & not all are food motivated...If you go to the search box & type in Savannah Names you will see many posts, my favorite is on the second page; asking why you named your cat that or something...so cute!

I think that if you named the kittens rhyming names they won't differentiate between the names to know when you are addressing them... which can be fine mostly I guess!

You might just need to meet your second boy to find the right name...
