Help with introductions, PLEASE!!

Thank you all very much. I am happy to report that you were all right and it just took a little more time (and a little nerve from us to let them continue to play). Atlas and Monfils are now great friends. They have slept together for the past 2 nights now and they are happily sharing the rest of the house with each other during the day. We may have to figure out how to keep the little one from eating all the bigger one's food, but if we need to just separate them at feeding times, I can live with that. Thank you all for your consideration, time, and effort in helping with this matter, as it is truly appreciated.

is the little one eating all his food then going over to the other cats? you may just have to feed him more

Glad to hear that they have become best buds!

As Rob 1984 has said, if the little guy is eating his own, and his big brother's food, he probably needs to be fed more. It's highly unlikely he will overeat at his age.

We have started to feed the little guy more lately. He is learning how to eat all kinds of new foods from his new buddy. Although he is the F1, he had always turned his nose up at whole prey before. Now that he has seen his new best friend scarf down all kinds of goodies from full mice to full quail, he is loving those things and leaving his canned food uneaten. It's very difficult to know how much to feed them this way though. Is there some literature I can find on feeding full prey to our boys? They are currently on white fuzzies and 1day and 1 week old quail and very small chicks. Our F2 will eat baby rats, but I'm afraid they might be too big for him (even though he has never not eaten all that we have given him). I really appreciate all of this great input. As we have never been servants of cats, let alone Savannahs, we need all the help we can get!!

Adult Savannah cats typically should eat around 3%-5% of their body weight daily (a little more than average domestics since they are usually very high energy). However kittens should be allowed to eat as much as they can, ideally spread out to multiple small meals since they can't eat a lot at one sitting. 3 times a day at a minimum, ideally 5 or so times a day.

Our boys are 4 and 5 months old. We feed 3 times a day, but we were going to cut back to 2 times a day because someone told us to. I will take your advice and continue with the 3 times. The older one (F2 Monfils) wakes me up every morning wanting to eat something between 430 and 530 am. I get up and make them both meals at that time. The problem is that Monfils has a habit of eating some, then messing around for 5-10 minutes than eating more, then messing around for 5-10 minutes and so on and so forth till he finishes eating 30-45 min later. The little guy, F1 Atlas used to do this exact thing, but seems to have all of a sudden become greedy. Now he inhales his food and then bullies Monfils' food from him (even though he is only a third his size).

Atlas is most likely going through a growth spurt then. I'd give him more food when you do feed him.
