I believe he's talking about the F3 that I advertised on the site here, at least we've been trying to discuss her, although with my crazy work schedule this week and weekend it's been more miss than hit!

Hi David,

Welcome to the forum. Condolences on Herc. Gonna be real tough to meet those standards he set.
That being said... My first cat over 35 years ago was amazing in his empathy and roguish style. I thought Beauregard would never be topped.
Savannahs sound like an excellent choice for you. I am confident you will eventually find the right cat.
My sister lives in SW Florida and she flew to Las Vegas to pick up her kitten in person and bring it back home. (Thanks, Trish!), so that's an option for you. I picked up my 3 SV's in person but I was lucky my breeder is only an hour away.
And Rascal, given time, has met the standard Beauregard set. I once saw him get in on a cat brawl his brother Mayhem was involved in. And Mayhem is not really a favorite buddy but an annoyance to him. But when push came to shove, he was right there for his brother.
There are a lot of amazing stories about Savannahs on these forums. Don't let the challenging stories worry you, as this is THE place where you can get help for a challenge, and most times the members help resolve the issue.
This is a wonderful community of cat lovers. Make that servants!;)

I so agree with Nikki. I have 3 of Patti's Savannahs. One was a troubled rescue, who has settled in and is wonderful. The other two... well they are Savannahs from the word go. My loves...all 3.

If you are considering a kitten from Patti, I wholeheartedly recommend her!
Our f2 baby girl, Rey, is one of Patti's kittens, and both Patti and Rey are wonderful!
It is Rey's niece that he is considering, and honestly I think they are two peas in a pod (y)

Oh my goodness, Rey's niece!
So our little baby Rey is in our humble opinion adorable. She is a really nice kitty. Fiesty as heck, playful and stubborn and super duper loving. If this little one is like Rey, you are in for a fun ride!
When I am home, unless she is using the litterbox, she is never more than 5 feet from me, and frequently on my lap, in my arms or at my feet. I'm lucky she is forgiving, I trip over her on a daily basis. She is also good with kids and bosses, our three boy kites around, even though she is much smaller than they are. she also has an amazingly soft cost that she loves to have petted.
