Great speed on the return trip. Our boy chases the toy down similarly, just on the return trip he needs to make sure everyone notices the prize he's landed with a slow deliberate trot and his head held high.

Viva la Nacho!

Sorry, I don't know what a Kong toy is, it is a cheap stuffed purple mouse. What are some agility tricks? Sorry, I'm pretty new to all this, I'll look it up after I post this. After he realized his name is Nacho, (by calling him and giving him his food) I call him and stick with one trick. Right now I'm pointing and telling him to get it. I would hold him in my hand point and walk him up to whatever I'm pointing at, also, I would point and point crawl to whatever I'm pointing at until he gets it. I don't know how your supposed to do it, but he gets the idea. He can almost get whatever I point at. As for the fetching, one day I threw a rolled up napkin he chased it, dropped it off on my lap, I picked it up threw it again but this time said "fetch" or "go fetch." Now whenever he drops something near me I pick it up, throw it and say fetch then Nacho generally brings it back. I really don't know if any of this is right but seems like how I would want to be taught.
A friend came over today, we sat and played fetch for like 10 minutes, he was really impressed.
Maybe I will be the first to get him to play dead :)

I'm totally enthralled by Nacho and the zeal he possesses. He's exuding a great deal of confidence for how long he's been at his forever home and exactly what we are looking for in a running mate for our boy.

Hey everyone!

Quick question, how long until we can take Nacho on walks outside? He received shots 5/17 (7 weeks old) and today, 6/27 (13 weeks old) both for fvrcp and leukemia. The vet said in 3 weeks he will get boosters of the same and then he would be ready to go outside. How does this sound? Nacho was born 3/31.

Thanks!
