Thanks everyone.. had an interesting time last night lugging his food freezer up the stairs last night, but now im officially ready.. at least I think I am..

Loki is finally at his forever home.. and he has been amazing!!

(Aside from his lack of appetite, but luckily the breeder is still here and were slowing letting the prince learn eating on his own is much easier. Me and the little guy are really hitting it off.. and hes been napping on me all day, which im really excited about since its been less than 24 hours!!! Jeez im so in love.

Not sure what you mean by him learning that eating on his own is much easier - was he not weaned before he came to you? Nevertheless, it sounds like he is settling in wonderfully. What an amazing blessing for you!!

Oh no I meant to get the boy started on his meal, it seems he needs to have the first few pieces of food put in his mouth before hell even look at it. Even then sometimes hell just sit there and wait to be force-fed. Yesterday he was mich better, and today were goin to try to gp 5.5 hours between feedongs tp see that will trigger his hunger button.

Any suggestions?! Otherwise, hes been amazing, playing, headbutting me, sleeping on me, were like best friends, he just dpesnt seem to have much interest in food. Unles its coming frpm your hand. (Including prey)

Well at least you found a community who understands and won't embarrass you for the way you feel. Well, except for rascaldad who has imbibed a few too many beers with his cats.

LOL! Two, to be precise. That's the post neutering beer! And John Popp should also be indicted since he outed this tradition. (I didn't see this post for a week.)
I am a fond of my cats as anybody on the boards. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Wow, Herman! The pictures just keep getting better and better. The spots are soooo inky!
He will eat when he wants too. He just transferred homes and is quite baffled with the surroundings. He will be fine.

Thanks very much, we are so lucky. this last meal he ate everything all on his own so hes definitely settling in well.. and i am so happy
