Hi everyone

I hate to be a party pooper, but if you are not 21, you can't enter in to a legally binding agreement, and all the breeders I know, myself included require you sign a purchase agreement (ie. contract). It might be really prudent to hold off a bit until you are better situated and have at least a semester of college under your belt. That way you will truly know if you can juggle the responsibilities and life-style commitment.

I am 21 and began paying for Zeddie at 20 (but im also canadian). I live with my parents still and have a 6 year old African Grey. My animals come first for me always. I never want kids, I have a parrot that acts like one.
If you are committed, you should be fine.
Every person is different, just make sure your research has been done :)

actually ive had about 4 semesters(bplus students) plus 2 season of junior college football under my belt and not to mention a certificate from Connecticut school of broadcasting also if its a problem my parent will sign on it wouldn't be taking on such a commitment

as for the studying part im an everything online guy so the books being messed up and stuff shouldnt be a problem

I'm in Information Technology and spend approx 12 hours a day on the PC, including the weekends. I can't work from home any longer because of the interruptions. I can get a solid 30min of work done before having a toy dropped in my lap or jumping up for a monitor obstructing headbutt and nuzzle.

If you have an iOS or Android tablet, these are going to be super helpful because keyboard and mice will be walked on all the time. They want to interact with you and if you try to work around them, they will rub on your hands or obstruct your monitor. That's where a second cat or the G/F will enter the mix, they can entertain each other and give you some relief!

At this moment, I have 1/2 a dozen scratches on my right arm and 4 on the left from Isis jumping up with a toy using the arm of the executive leather chair as a spring board from the floor which inadvertently catches my arm along the way. Collateral damage.

Try having a cat spray your computer keyboard!

NOW- that was an interruption! (See- those of you who want whole cats- you don't, you really, really don't. ALTER THEM! LOL!)
