Along with what the others have given for advice... Make sure you realize that Savannah are VERY ACTIVE cats! You or your boyfriend will need to engage your savannah in 'active game play' or long walks on a leash to fill the Savannah's need for exercise, every single day (we found that before bedtime was the ideal time as he was tired from the play and ready to sleep when we were) - and if he/she is like our Zuka, they will let you know it is time for play time. If you don't you will find that he/she will find a way to get rid of that access energy in ways you might not appreciate... such as tear/clawing up paper of any kind (think homework/essays) or some other kind of mischief that only Savannahs would think of.

that thread with this breeder bein discussed was odd but she's been great communicating and just fell in love with that cat so dam fast
I was just kidding. His expression makes him look like he won't take any poo poo from anyone. That doesn't mean he isn't sweet. I like 'em when they are sweet with a hint of saucy spicy thrown in for good measure.
