All,

It looks like I am continuing the Savannah kitten of the year club. I recently signed a contract for a male F2 kitten from Arden Morley, which I'll pick up in early July. She says that he is "super people oriented and a real lovebug", as well as a bit on the small size. Sense I already have a moose size kitten with Calvin. I am fine with smaller size of the new kitten. I do think his colors are amazing already, see attached.

Cute little guy. You never know about size. I know the World's Tallest Cat, Savannah Island's Trouble was a regular sized kitten and then his growth just took off. I never say a kitten is small or large because it is so unpredictable how they'll grow. In all my years of breeding, I have never been able to predict it with any accuracy other than females are usually smaller than males.

Kristine and All,

Thanks for the kitten complements and size comment. I had not really thought about him just continuing to grow. So, I guess you take them as they are, what ever size they grow into.

I am a bit concerned about introductions with the new kitten with my older SBT savannah. The older cat will be three years old when I bring the new kitten home. I had good luck using pet gates to separate Calvin when I introduced him and I slowly let him into different parts of the house, while excluding the other cat. Any other suggestions on how to keep peace in what will be a three male savannah house hold?

Except hide the Scotch and cigars;).

Congratulations, Bruce! He's adorable! :in love: Who are his parents? I'm wondering if Triton may have another sibling? :)
