Hi Everyone

That's going to be a tough one! Everything that relates to love is more like a girl's name. When I look at his coat, it reminds me of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, or a Heath Bar with the yummy toffee center. Guess I need a candy bar! :roflmao:

Like your candy names.
Lets see, Butter cup leads to Princes Bride which gives you: Inigo Montoya, Miracle Max and Fezzik. Not liking it so much now.

Patty, growing up I had a friend's family with the last name of Hunter. They one of their sons had the middle name of Head. I hope he got over it at some point:(

Oh well, I don't want to traumatize my kitten,
Bruce

So any ideas from the gallery???
I'm a believer in letting them earn their names, as Rascal and Mayhem did. There is also a cat named Havoc around here but I can't remember the owner's, scratch that, servant's name. Give it a few days. It will come to the surface.

Naming can be a bit tricky. I typically modify the name given to them at the shelter or breeder, or change it completely as in the two coming Saturday (I'm pumped up for their arrival). Then I let them earn their nicknames.

For example, my orange tabby was Paddles in the shelter so he became Paz. His nicknames are Little Buddy (a Gilligan reference), and Monkey Butt. He answers to all of them.

That is not a bad idea. So far Might Mouse fits pretty well, see attached DSC01674 (2).jpg DSC01716 (2).jpg

I totally agree! Chongo earned his name by my wife and I continually saying " uh oh" as he would attempt feats beyond his physical capacity. Not that he wasn't athletic, just that he would attempt leaps that would leave him a few feet short and be prepared to leap from heights that were beyond the point of safe landing.

So there it was, uh oh chongo, and only a few months later did I find out just how relevant his name was.

We had a rescue that was named Romeo. Wasn't right for him, but could work for you.

Well, after consulting with my teenage house visitor, we decided to go with Max, as in the Grinch's dog. He is a pretty happy go lucky kitten, so that part fits and he has an amazing amount of energy. The screen door in one of the photos is new. He had enlarged the holes to the point that I was afraid that he would get out.

Right now he is getting introduced to the other cats in the house. I give him a couple of hours and then give everyone a break. So far I seen licks, ignoring and growling. Oh, he did ride the other F2 for a short time;)

The photos are from yesterday and I can see him changing every day.
