How long should I quarantine a 4 mo old f3 female from our 6 mo old f7?

My wife and I have had our boy for 6 weeks,he's 6 months old, he has gotten comfortable pretty quickly.he is friendly toward other animals and has become friends with our neighbors 80 lb Labrador. We have just adopted a 4 month old f3c. After the vet check, since they are both young and relatively new to this place, can I consider introducing them to each other earlier than two weeks, or will I encounter any problems

I would stick with the two week quarantine. Chances are, nothing will go wrong, but I don't think you want to take that chance. Stress (such as moving to a new home) lowers the immune system and can trigger and illness that could manifest itself up to two weeks later. Plus, you want the little guy to bond with you, not with your other kitten so best to give that time to grow and develop. Plus, even if he appears perfectly fine, remember he is in a completely foreign environment and introducing him to the entire household all at once could be overwhelming - best to do it in steps and one room at a time, until he seems to know the layout, especially that he knows where the food, water, and litterbox is.
