How to break bad habits

Once you get the harness fitted properly, try using a wand toy or laser light to get them moving. That's how I got my guys to walk a straight line outside -- by following the laser light. It didn't take them too long to figure out what I wanted them to do. Some people have used a tennis racquet to keep the cat moving in one direction.

Ah, ok! Thanks, I was worried if I might be choking them if I did it too tight. I tend to slip on the harness right before food time, so their stomachs bulge a bit afterwards. I might hold off on Nyx for a bit. She's too small for the harness. That's the smallest one I could find, adjusted to the smallest setting, haha. I tightened Nova's harness and I'll see how she feels about it after she's eaten.
