Thanks ya'll!

I am so excited, the anticipation is just ridiculous! How on Earth am I going to make it until she comes home?! I know how...shopping for supplies, reading online, learning, modifying the house...and sleeping. :p

I am going to see her again this weekend and will be able to hold her a little. (Which means new pics will be coming)

I have read in a couple places that her coat is not as "desirable" as "traditional" coats, is that true? Honestly, I am not really even worried about that though. I think she is beautiful and I can not wait to get to know her.

Thank you all for welcoming me into your group. I think I am going to like it here! :toasting:

For many people it's not desirable.
But there are also a lot of people who love the marbles.
This forum has a lot of marble lovers i noticed.
I'm also getting my first savannah kitten next week and it's also a marble.
I wouldn't want him in any other way. :)

Remember, most of us were attracted to the spots or marbling, we returned because of the personality! I really enjoy reading the new, first time owners' stories, as they discover the most remarkable trait of this new breed.

Here are my other kitties. Gizmo is the Siamese (does anyone know what he could be? I rescued him but don't know his breed?) and Chester is the other. You can not really tell in this pic, but he is actually spotted, not striped. They are the sweetest!! Hope everyone gets along! I am pretty confident they will though, my cats now are very welcoming and loving. :)

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say HI! STILL waiting on my little love but having a lot of fun preparing for her homecoming!! I have bought a TON of stuff from Drs Foster & Smith (including Da Bird...that toy is AWESOME!!!). Just bought a tree today. We were going to build one but decided that it would just be easier to buy one. Here is what we got.. http://www.overstock.com/Pet-Supplies/Go-Pet-Club-72-inch-Cat-Tree/6735183/product.html We will most likely bolt it to the wall somehow and ad reinforcements, if necessary.

Here is a pic from yesterday of Jasmine with her litter mates. She is the one on the far right.

I can not WAIT to get her. At least I know that most all of you have been in these shoes too. It is like I am waiting for Christmas!!!!!
